... he's quiet for a second longer, thinking. just before he arrived here, he had a long conversation with his brothers about a similar topic. ichiro found a truth out about his father when he was young that changed the entire dynamic of his family, that had him pull jiro and saburo away. when rei found them again, he attempted to manipulate his brothers into a similar situation, pointing out that ichiro was a liar, who told them both of their parents were dead.

...I think that truth doesn't have any meaning, unless we find it ourselves. So whatever consequences that come from that after are up to us.

And I think... at least, I have to think, that finding it is going to maybe make it easier for us to solve this place's largest mysteries as a whole, and stopping it from destroying us any further that it already has.
