[ HELLO yamato!!! this fine wednesday ichiro's hanging out in the arcade, actually, playing guitar hero: the arcade version! he seems to be pretty decent at it, even if it is a mockery of true guitar playing, and is bobbing his head along with the music coming out of the screen.

he also absolutely does not see yamato coming in because he's just vibing and playing so here we are. ]

you doing anything for this winter formal?

[ hmmmm whats this ]

[ it's reflexive when he spots him but hrm. he's not sure what to say. sorry about? your winter? my bad? ]

[ WOW HERE THEY ARE SOMEWHERE i'm going to say theater stage stuff? they are just hanging out ]

Still no music anything. [ commiserating as yamato observes the stage curiously. ] If this place really is a TV show, they've got no budget for the soundtrack, I guess.

[ he's being so dry! so cool! it's too bad this is immediately interrupted by a sweet memory of yamato's baby brother getting gifted a gun for christmas. kind of. there's the obvious worry, anger and bone chilling fear feelings through the memory, but under that, an odd thread of insecurity.

and once it's over, yamato is left blinking and reeling at ichiro. ]

[ yamato's exploring the bookstore more out of vague interest in New Building than any kind of actual interest in anything here. he is also NOT bumping into walls right now so we're very proud of him. that means he does have more interest in ichiro when he spots him, though, and, wry; ]

At this point, think they're keeping the music stuff away just to mock us?
