Those being assimilated will behave strangely, not unlike the Teacher's Pet, but more extreme. I know that Lan Wangji, Crow, Wang Lu, and now Sakyou at least have all shown symptoms... they believe they are truly students here. Even if they believed you before, they begin to believe you are lying to them—they flee.
