[ the idea of beau showing off her drinking talent is funny - and honestly ichiro has definitely helped shoulder drunk people home many times so it's not like he'd be unfamiliar with it. ] But sure, I guess that counts. Let's see it.

[she makes a face at him. she will lead him to The Alcohol Zone, however, and buy like, three bottles. vodka, whiskey and a random wine that sounds not awful.]

Huh. I did jobs like that, too, a few years back. The guys used to offer me booze all the time, but - I'm trying to be a good role model, you know? For my little bros. I don't want them to get into anything like that while they're still so young.

I don't know, he's like, two. And I really only just met him a couple weeks ago. He's fine, I guess. He's... two. [descriptive, beau]

Just checkin'. Two years old, huh? They're terrors when they're that age. I don't remember Jiro much, but Saburo - god, he used to cry all the time. Unless I was the one holding him, then he'd usually quiet down.

I'm pretty sure nobody actually knows how to handle a two year old, so you're in good company. No doubt.

[ he gets that feeling, though. it reminds him of a time long passed by. ] ... When I was a little younger, I didn't get to see Jiro and Saburo that often. I did everything I could to help 'em from far away, but I wasn't there, and they - they've turned out pretty good.

once they get inside, he sets the wine bottle down, leans over, and scoops beau up in a BIG bear hug! he does actually give like. REALLY good hugs - general boy bulk, plus he smells good, plus arm muscles plus that big loving big brother vibe means it is very comforting, yeah.
