on thursday, ichiro is hanging out in the arcade in the SUB. he's playing pac-man at the moment, leaning over the machine and seemingly pretty focused on it. guess sometimes you need a distraction.... when he realizes there's someone there, though, he jumps a little and looks up from his game. ]
Oh, hey, Byleth-san. Jeez, you walk really quietly... what's up?
Oh, it's pretty easy. You're the little yellow guy. Your job is to use the joystick [ he gestures to where his hand is on the joystick ] to move the pac-man around on the screen and eat the dots.
But, if one of the ghosts touches you, it'll eat you, instead. You wanna give it a try?
she gets stuck on a wall immediately, a shadow of frustration crossing her face, but she says nothing. eventually, she unsticks, and starts munching like a champ. she eats a big dot, and the ghosts go blue.
[well, now that she's got, more or less, the point of this game, she does start playing a little better—but the activation of the blue ghosts is a mystery that still alludes.
so when she does eat another power pellet, she is once again totally unprepared. she chases them back to base, eats two--
